Daudi/Firefly Luciferase Cell Line

Description: Daudi is a well characterized B lymphoblast cell line which has been employed extensively in studies of mechanisms of leukemogenesis.  It has been widely used in cancer research and drug development. Daudi/firefly luciferase stable cells express firefly luciferase. These cells can be used for in vitro cell assays and in vivo studies.

Quantity: Two vials of frozen cells (2×106 per vial)

Stability: Stable in culture over a minimum of 10 passages

Application: Drug screening, biological assays and in vivo study

Freezing Medium: 70% RPMI 1640 +20% FBS+10% DMSO

Propagation Medium: RPMI1640+10%FBS

Morphology: Lymphoblast

Subculture: Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 3 X 105 cells/mL and maintain between 3 X 106 cells/mL.

Incubation: 37 °C with 5% CO2

Storage: Liquid nitrogen immediately upon receiving

Doubling Time: Approximately 23 hours

Mycoplasma Status: Negative
