K562-CD38/GFP Cell Line

Description: The K562-CD38/GFP cell line is derived from the K562 chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) cell line, originally established from a patient in terminal blast crisis. This engineered cell line stably expresses CD38 and green fluorescent protein (GFP). It serves as an ideal target cell for in vitro cytotoxicity assays involving CD38-targeting therapies.

Quantity: Two vials of frozen cells (2×106 per vial)

Stability: Stable in culture over a minimum of 10 passages

Application: Drug screening, biological assays and in vivo study

Freezing Medium: 70% RPMI 1640 +20% FBS+10% DMSO

Propagation Medium: RPMI1640+10%FBS

Morphology: Lymphoblast

Subculture: Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 105 cells/mL and maintain between 1 X 105 and 1 X 106 cells/mL.

Incubation: 37 °C with 5% CO2

Storage: Liquid nitrogen immediately upon receiving

Doubling Time: Approximately 40 hours

Mycoplasma Status: Negative
